Mentorship, personalized training, and gear designed to turn your off-season into a launchpad for your strongest trail season yet.

Path to Play x RunReady Scholarship
The Path to Play x RunReady Scholarship Program exists to empower trail runners through education, access to health professionals, and community support—helping them build strength, skill, and confidence throughout the off-season.
From 1 on 1 mentorship with the Path to Play team to personalized programs and training with RunReady physiotherapists, our goal is to make trail running as accessible and diverse as the community we serve.
Each participant also receives an exclusive Nike Trail kit, provided with support from Nike Running.
Application opens October 1, 2025.
How long is the program?
The Path to Play x RunReady Scholarship Program is a six-month scholarship, running from November 2025 to April 2026. It's designed to keep growth and development alive through structured support during the off-season.

Support for runners facing barriers
This scholarship is for individuals who have encountered difficulty accessing quality support to either discover or continue their journey in trail running. Whether due to financial, social, geographic, or educational barriers—if you love the sport but need help to keep growing—we want to help you keep moving forward, season after season.
- Two spots are available for the inaugural scholarship.
- Little to no trail running experience OR a desire for continued learning and progress.
- Commitment to the full 6‑month term (Nov–Apr).
- Barriers may include injuries/recovery, access to specialists, difficulty accessing trails/community/coaches or facilities.
- One spot reserved for a Path to Play community member (attended at least one event).
